Vu said he’s been a collector of the shoe brand for a year now and has bought close to a 100 pairs of the Jordan sneaker.
Vu said he travels to big cities like Los Angeles, New York and Chicago to look for retro Jordans as well as ones that are unique.
“It’s different from other shoes. It’s fascinating,” he said. “The shoe is not made for basketball anymore, but now it’s a fashion statement.”
Vu said his goal is to collect the entire Jordan brand as well as the new shoes endorsed by players like Dwayne Wade.
“The Air Jordan III and the Air Jordan IV are my favorite pairs,” he said. “Even though it’s made for basketball, you could wear it for casual looks, like jeans and shorts.”
